8.0 The second Home: Total is $180K. We already have $50,000 saved for that. =$ 130,000 needed.
The second is estimates for the top priorities with details:
1) Plumbing and well
a) Cost of drilling a deep water well with guaranteed clean water plus = $5,500
b) Cost of a very reliable pump and average yearly maintenance cost =$ 1200 for building pump, yearly maintenance…
c) Cost of routing the water from the city to the home: = $3,200
d) Cost of complete indoor plumbing of the building = $6,500
2) Furnishing the building
c) Tables for the auxiliary rooms: There won’t be auxiliary rooms on this current building. Too little space for 120 kids. Will have to use the rooms downstairs for kids as well.
d) Book shelves for the small upstairs library: estimate coming
e) Lockers for the children’s clothes: Big cupboards in room centers. In the 4 rooms upstairs and two rooms downstairs. Estimate coming.
f) “Cubby holes” for placement of the children’s shoes: later 7 cupboards x 20 (spaces) = Estimate coming.
Also people tonight were very interested in having a Jeremiah Home Benefit 2 – If we feel led, we should start planning 6 months early for the first weekend in December – You pick a time that will work well for your schedule and let’s calculate six months from that time and start… I’m in!
